How many out there have kids of your own? What are they into?
I have an 8 year old daughter. Unfortunately, she lives in Florida with her mom (I live in PA). Divorced, but we're friends again. She shares my enthusiasm for Futurama and the Simpsons, as well as some super hero stuff (like Spider-Man), Harry Potter and Star Wars, but not so much stuff like GI Joe or Transformers. She is into Hannah Montana and High School Musical, however. |

my little girl will be 4 next month and she is into My Little Ponys. Well they are not mine, they are hers but they are still My Little Pony.... oh I'm just confused. LOL.
Anyhow she likes my GI Joe stuff and has my old timber that she has to have next to her bed on her little table when she goes to bed. She was pretty big into Justice League a while back. Her favorites are Superman and Flash. Other than that she is just like any other 4 year old girl. Lots of Princess stuff and Dora. |

My daughter just turned 1 and unfortunately she lives in another state, so we really don't have shared interset's just yet, but she's slowly getting into Barbies and other 'girly' stuff, that I do buy and send to her. However, I have 2 sons that live near me, 12 & 9 and they share my interest. We love sports(Football & Basketball), like the same movies, music, and for the most part, the same toys. They'er not into them as much as I am, but they do like them and play with the loose ones I have displayed(Joe's, Star Wars, Superhero Figures). But they're more into video games and WWE than I am, but I do participate in game playing & watching WWE with them.

2 sons, 4 years apart
4yr old and i play gi joe all the time! he has an impressive army already. i can't explain how cool it is to enjoy gi joes again with my kids this time. 8yr old is more into wii and riding his bike than playing with gi joes. he only gets into it because he's jealous when his little brother gets something and he doesn't. i don't always buy him joes beacuse he doesn't play with them as much. his army is more like a platoon. this is why i end up buying 3-4 of almost everything. 1 to keep moc, one for me to display, and the rest to open and play with whenever we get the chance. my kids love the vehicle customs i make as well but i've held off making them for them as they would jsut get beat up. instead i just get them mulitples and they get to color or whatever they want on one of them. i will need to raid several more targets soon to get more as those are going to be the best deal money wise. other than that, my kids love wii and i hate video games. i still play time to time with them just to spend time with them but never enjoyed video games. i ride bikes with my sons when weather permits. the 4yr old still has his training wheels so we don't go far. i watch cartoons/anime and animated movies with my kids all the time. i try my best to keep up with what they are watching so i'm aware of the influences they are bombarded with. i need to spend mroe time watchign what they do online. it's amazing how fast kids pick up technology. my youngest was going to youtube at 3yrs old to find funny animal videos.

I have a son, age 7, and a daughter, age 5.
My son is the reason I am back into collecting...he got me into it - and I've been loving every minute of it. My daughter also enjoys Joes...but only the ladies. lol I get my kids involved in the customizing I do...and my son started to paint figures (does a decent job also). Aside from the Joe's...we ride bikes, quads, camping...basically just about everything kids do. The kids do enjoy video games...and so do I, but I limit how much any of us plays them. I'd rather use my imagination with customizing/playing with joes...than just stare at the tv....and I prefer if the kids do the same.

I've got two little girls, 5 and 3. They're into superheroes a bit because I am and love Superman, Batman, and of course Wonder Woman. Their real love is Disney Princesses and Care Bears. I do my best to show enthusiasm, and even play with these toys with them although they aren't favorites of mine. (that's my story and I'm sticking to it)
They don't really care for Star Wars, Transformers, or GI Joe the way I do (they are stinky boy toys), but they love it when the door to my toy room is left open and they can run in and play with all of the creatures in Jabba's Palace or the Cantina. The only interest they've ever shown in GI Joe is for all of their tiny pets. They just love Shipwreck's parrot. I never thought about it before having children, but they are right that the Joes appear to have quite the zoo collection at the PIT. The only interest

My daughter will turn 7 in two weeks and she really thinks her dad's Joe collection is cool and is so excited when I bring a new figure home. She is really into littlest pet shop and Hannah Montana as well as High School Musical. I have recently given her the Scarlett figure fromt the comic pack as well as my Destro from the comic pack with Breaker. She really thinks its cool that she has a Joe or two to play with.

My son is 5,Its all about transformers and gijoe. The only superheroes he plays with are batman and spiderman. He loves the Wii sports. He doesn't get to big into starwars. He has a X-wing and AT-AT that the joes and cobra alike love playing in.
My little girl is 4.My little pony,Carebears(of which she has a massive collection of).She plays Joes and transformers.Disney and Dora are big around here too.Being around 2 guys is going to bring alitte tomboy out in her.She is also a Wii sports fan. Me and my kids do everything together. We have a collection of Disney movies(around 50give or take a few)All VHS,I hate buying Disney movies on DVD.I'll jump in and play My little pony just as quick as joes.
