I've been looking to help another website fill in a lot gaps in it's marvel action figure database and I wanted to build a DIY lightbox that would give me some nice clear white backgrounds without shadows that would be worthy to put up on the database. The box needs to be able to fit 19" tall figures (Universe Galactus being the tallest one I'd need to get).
Should I use foam core for the sides or cloth? Any how to guides that I can check out? |

I have a 4x that is bought and a few that Ive made. You can make one EASILY with a nice white sheet from anywhere. It doesnt have to be fancy, and if youve got a lot of light in the room your working in, or can do it outside, its just about all youll need.
I do have a frame made up of PVC and it all comes apart, I have a sheet that I cut the corners out of and folded over and stitched so it fits around the frame perfectly, but you dont need to go that far. A white sheet and a place to shoot outside on a bright day, or a well lit room is all you need really. |
