Those people have no fear and all the drivers are broken. I don't even look at the car. I just go. If you've ever tried to drive in Cambridge, MA, you'll know what I'm talking about.
Likewise, as a driver, I defer to pedestrians when and where appropriate. |

Right on. We have a bunch of idiots around here. Those guys who think they can just take their time walking in front of you, expecting you to slow down while they take their time crossing in the middle of the road...Especially with gang bangers or wannabe " thugs " in the area. They just walk out in front of you and shoot you a dirty look, or call out a racial slur or something stupid.It happens all the time, Especially in my hometown where i grew up, which is one of the reasons i wont even drive through there anymore.
Walk out in front of me buddy when I'm driving 65 mph on the highway in a box truck with that stupid look on your face like " i own the road im taking my time " and see what happens.....

The math/physics/whatever says that a fleshy juice-bag of a brain-case will suffer much more than a rolling hunk of steel. Thus I stay out of the way, and I expect as much from other fleshy juice-bags when I'm in my rolling hunk of steel (I'm often disappointed).

My opinion of it is, whats a few extra seconds before I get into the store if I get in in one piece?

Uh, I hate to distract everyone from their road rage/Grand Theft Auto fantasies of splattering pedestrians all over the place, but nobody was talking about crossing the highway. The thread title clearly says in "the parking lot." | |
