Awesome! I was a long time 40k fanatic.Just got too expensive to continue (I had at one time 26 full functioning armies...That's what I get for working at a gaming store at the time!) I started in 94 & played through 06....Started selling off my armies in 01 & sold my last...my beloved Khorne army that stood at just under 50,000 pts. (not a typo) to a friend for a cool grand.Used all of my 40k funds from the armies to buy new armies in the 33/4" scale! ;)

Nice job on the paint. I have been playing 40K since about 92. Still have an exteb=nsive collection and have a few friends that come over to play. I have about 12 armies full force. Looking to sell one of them after I get it painted up again. didn't like the color scheme so I opted to dip them and repaint them. It's a Tyranid Army.
Working on a Ksons army right now.. didn't want to go with the traditional Blue and gold or the original red, so I opted to go with a tan/bleachbone design with gold and blue accents. Looks really good so far.

Holy crap 50,000 pts. I always wanted a big army but it was to expensive. the largest i got was 4,000 pts. I have now had to make a choice between warhammer and joes and jones. So out go the warhammer. sucks but with the money i would spend on a tank i can get like 7-8 figs

I have managed to keep my 40K and still buy joes. Then again I really haven't bought anything new for 40K either. I will buy one or two new items to add to one of the many armies I have if the urge comes along.. Other than that they are set and I am good. Although 5th edition is right around the corner, so I will have to fork over the bucks to get the new main book. As well as the new dex's coming out within the year for the armies i play with.
