I can't believe nobody has listed the 1985 classic Once Bitten starring a young Jim Carrey, or the original Buffy the Vampire Slayer-I think it is crazy that Keifer Sutherland is the head of the coolest rock-n-roll vampire gang of all time, and his dad Donald stalks hot young high school girls and trains them to slay vampires??? What does this say about the genre?

30 days of night looks kinda cool.
http://www.sonypictures.com/movies/3...ght/index.html Nice movie picks! I'd like to include Night Watch in the list even though its not a straight up vamp flick. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Night_Watch_(2004_film) Last edited by Tin_Trencher; 10-10-2007 at 05:52 PM.. |

I'd definitely vote for "Shadow of the Vampire." Also, any love for Buffy the series? I'm a big fan of it, though not the movie so much.

I got to say "Embrace of the Vampire" because Alyssa Milano was in it and that the visuals were very nice, not over the top like other films, the type of movie you can watch over and over and over again.. ;)
I'd vote for From Dusk til Dawn.... loved the whole Cheech Marin quotes and Salma Hayek. |
