if it's my free time, then it's quite obviously free. They can't really buy my time, i only get so much and so does whoever's trying to buy it all up. However, if it's work that you want to pay me for, it's very highly dependent on the job I'm asked to do.

If a friend wants me to do some work (content, design, etc.), then I might go as low as $20. Just a freelance job, though? If it's a short thing, maybe 3-5 hours of work, I might do it for $50 an hour. I have one ongoing freelance job as an independent contractor, and I charge that particular company $166 an hour. So it just depends. |

It wouldn't depend so much on what I'd have to be doing, but more what else I could've been doing. If there's nothing better to do than work, then probably in the $20-$50 range, depending mostly on who the work is for (still not what it is). If I had other plans or something potentially more interesting is going on my time is probably not available at any reasonable price.

I love my job and my boss. I can come and go as I please which is a serious plus since free time is all I really want.
