When I think of "Villain" in the comic world my mind goes straight to guys like Dr. Doom, Joker, Leader, Doc Ock, Red Skull, Sinestro...etc etc etc...
Heroes its the same thing..you're 1st tier guys are usually who you think of when you think of super powers...Supes, Hulk, Flash, Wolverine etc.. What about the lesser known (to the general public, not the comic fan) hero or villian.....who could be classified as "less popular" but you think is cool AND has some power that as "B-Rated" as it seems..kick some ass. I'm going with Weather Wizard.....I wouldnt mind beating an enemy by starting a thunderstorm in their lungs...or something of the sort! |

I just re-read Secret Wars. Got to go with Molecule Man. They put the ultimate power to manipulate EVERYTHING in the universe in a dork afraid of his own shadow.

Molecule Man without a doubt.
My favorite character is Dane Whitman, the Black Knight. Especially during the Harras/Epting era of Avengers and during the recent Captain Britain and MI-13. Great and underutilized character. I would love to write a Black Knight series.

Axel Asher AKA Access
The power to travel through time and realities, summon any character from either the DC or Marvel Universe, from any time period at will! And the power to fuse to heroes together to make an amalgam featuring the finer points of either. Access is a God!

Marvel comics has Electro and Graviton. Electro gets mild props for being a "classic" Spider-Man villain but within the comics he rarely, if ever lives up to the potential of his powers, which could be supremely dangerous if he got inventive and ambitious with them.
Likewise Graviton, whose powerset basically amounts to "Graviton is to Gravity what Magneto is to Magnetism" but has usually been crippled by psychological instability. Every so often he gets REALLY dangerous but eventually he simply ended up killing himself, IIRC. |

DC has Dr. Polaris, controls magnetism. He's a joke.
