This is a longshot:
My mother has recently discovered a line of 8-10 inch bird figurines made in the UK and hard to find in the US. Strangely, they show up at TJ Maxx sometimes. She likes these a lot but has not been able to find any other than the Wren and Parrot. They are part of the Leonardo Collection. There are several birds: Robin, Kingfisher, Budgie, etc. I believe there are three lines: Birds of Paradise, Birds of Prey, and British Birds. So far she has the Wren and Parrot. I am trying to find more for her. Sometimes they are out of the box and sometimes not. The box is nondescript and (at least the ones I've seen) do not have a picture on the outside. They're grey with narrow stripes and look as if they might contain a coffee can or something. Here are a couple of examples: If anyone happens to see any of these other than the parrot and wren in the decorative items/home section I will pay you and will owe you a good deal in a trade. I realize this is a very strange request to post here. I've searched the stores in the area and even talked to the district office on the phone but no luck, and eBay has been a disappointment. Thanks in advance! |

Just got back from a Marshall's, a Ross, and a TJ Max but I they didn't have any of those figurines. There are a few more on the other side of town, and I might have an opprotunity to get over there tonight. If I do I'll check them out.

Now may be the time for finding things at TJ Maxx and Marshall's. They have been getting a lot of new stuff in at both places.
I found a couple of GI Joe and Star Wars comic packs at TJ Maxx here and Marshall's has the Star Wars Evolutions 3-packs and more Joe sets. |
