Hi Wesley! Nice to meet you. Like Tex said, admittance is the first step to Joe Addiction Recovery.
Step 1. We admit we were powerless over GI Joe action figures—that our lives had become unmanageable. Alot of people will try to convince that this addiction is all personal choice. But the truth is, it's a disease. It's a cruel and harsh disease that many of us have been living with for years. We are here to help you and to hold you accountable and we will work very hard making sure that our lives are no longer ruined by this hobby.

That is true to a point. But like any addiction, it can and will get out of hand. Sitting up all hours bidding on eBay, making deals on the Tank, spending money on Joes and skipping the bills, being negative on the checking account, the wife is upset and accusing you of cheating on her and asking, "Who the fuck is this bitch Courtney A. Krieger???!!!" Trust me, it can become unhealthy.

I am very familiar with Longview. I have family that lives in Henderson which is just south of you. Also have family that live in Carthage and Tyler. Every summer we go to Tyler State Park for our family reunions. When we go to visit for the holidays we like to drive through Marshall and look at their Christmas lights.

I have an idea. we rent out a spot for AA like meetings with the circle of chairs in the middle and giant dioramas around the rest of the room?!

Well I just posted my hello group message but I think it got lost in the refreshing and all that when I tried to post it. Hello everyone it's awesome to be here. I'm going to have a couple questions later but I don't think this is the place to post them. So I'll just say hello and leave it at that.
About a year ago I got really lucky and found a fantastic buy for $60. It was literally three huge bins of GI Joe vehicles, figures, parts of vehicles that aren't there LOL, and other stuff. I have a six-year-old daughter. She and I have been playing with them and it has been the best $60 I ever spent. Best regards Faterulz Last edited by Faterulz; 05-20-2019 at 08:29 PM.. |

I don't want to say I "Collected" when I was younger. I had lots of them, but I played with them extensively. I never considered them as something that should be preserved. I really do wish I had held on to some of them. I had all the originals. Scarlet, Rock n Roll, Cobra Commander, etc etc etc.
