Dude, you definitely have to get ahold of your realtor about that. If they stated they were going to clean out the stuff and "sweep" to you and to your agent, I would think that qualifies as a verbal contract, if its not already in the paper contract. You could have solid legal legs to stand on.
Looking for a couple of the Shipwreck figures from the 5-Packs. As well as both antennas for the Mauler.

Dude piece of advice. I know all that sucks, the furniture being left, the cat crap at all. A lot of guys are posting about "legal action" and yep you are perfectly within your right to do that. But that is just going to give you another mess to deal with and take up more of your time, and you still have to maove all the junk out and clean the catcrap. Just chalk it up to bad luck, jerk ass people, whatever and move on.
Then find a box, wrap the cat crap up in bubble wrap and mail it to the previous owners. Put in a note that says "Here ya lef this behind dumbass. The other shit was too big to fit in the box."

It bothers me when stuff bothers people, I like to see people happy, or at least fake happy. ^______^

I say, pick up the cat poop and find out where they moved to and mail it to them. Just write a note saying "You forgot to take that wth you".

Congrats on the house, Goggles!
That sucks, man! Call your realtor and your real estate attorney and also check your contract. You own the house now and they are 'renting' space from you. I'm pretty sure it will say somewhere in the contract that they have to pay 'X' amount a day until the mess is taken care. And usually it's a pretty high amount to deter people from doing this.
Sorry you have to go through that, remember you have every right to get what you paid for.

I agree, just let it go. The head ache of trying to deal with this issue will be far worse than just taking care of it yourself.

Leaving cat crap on the floor is pretty vile.
"I say, pick up the cat poop and find out where they moved to and mail it to them. Just write a note saying "You forgot to take that wth you"."
This is your best course of action, since it has the benefit of making you feel better, and it's fast and cheap. Legal action is expensive and there's no guarantee you'll win.
Mailing animal feces, however, is a delightful pleasure we can all get behind.
As for the other stuff--is it worth putting on Craig's list? Legally, that stuff is now yours. Try to get some money out of it.
