Is anyone out there who likes Greek Mythology?

I like all mythology. Bigger fan of Celtic and Norse.
BTW, shameless plug, check out my JOE Verse in my sig, I link Cobra to one of the Greek Gods and an actual ancient Greek Cult.

I have always liked Greek Mythology, Either Jason and the Argonauts or Perseus were my favorite characters.

Yep.
Can't wait to see the new "clash of the Titans", btw.

Love it. I am a fan and student of all mythology, but Greek is what started it all (thank you, Clash of the Titans). I teach 9th grade English, and one of our major units is the Odyssey. I've taken it from a two week reading unit to a six week course in hero myths, Campbell's Monomyth Cycle, etc.

Most others rely on god's helps, or being saved at last minute by someone's intervention, but Odisseus is an hero all by himself. One of the few heros that is actually smart (aside of though)

Very much a fan - studied the Heroes Journey at length through college. All my electives were spent on dumb stuff that does nothing for my career now.

Pretty much all mythology is in my radar. It is interesting to uncover the origins of civilization using mythology as a base. The similarities between the gods of old from one culture to the next as the centuries pass is intriguing. India, Babylon, Medo-Persia, Egypt, Greece, Rome and Northern Europe--the actual similarities between the godheads in each culture is fascinating in their evolution.
