So my car has been having issues lately just taking a long time to start. Then it just wouldn't start. Got it jumped it started no problem. Then the last couple days a few little hiccups. Tested the battery and it is good. Well today it just clicks. Starter is gone. Man this sucks. Worst part is I had to call in today cause well I couldn't get to work.
The upside is at least I can read some of the Marvel run lol |

Starters aren't that expensive, and not that hard to replace.

It may not be your starter. Recently had the same thing happen. Car batteries don't do all that great with cold temps, especially if it's a couple years old. It may have enough juice to test as good, but not enough to start the car. Try jumping your vehicle again, if it starts, it is your battery, which is good because it's much easier to replace than the starter.

also when you get it started use a volt meter across the battery terminals and make sure you have good charging output through the alternator

The clicking noise definitely sounds like the starter. But if the battery can be jumped but won't hold the charge, it could be your alternator.
