In reading posts it seems like more than a few of us are carrying a little "sumthin-sumthin" for personal protection.
Curious as to what the Hisstankers are armed with... When I a was a probation officer I used to carry a Sig Sauer P6 9mm and a Taurus P80 .38 as a back-up. The Sig Sauer 9mm now resides in the console of my car since it's not on my belt anymore. Last edited by Flint071; 12-22-2009 at 06:44 PM.. |

I grew up in a family of hunters, so I have NO problem with guns...
....that being said, my house is stocked with sharpened swords..strategically located in case of emergencies...I also like to keep a 1/2 a broom handle, wrapped in electrical tape with a couple screws drilled in it, next to my bed...

I practice TaeKwonDo and Krav Maga, but am also looking into carrying a concealed weapon as I am moving into a professional protection type role...I am very interested in this thread.

NJ tends to frown upon the use of lethal force, even for defense, so I force myself to make do with girly weapons like mace and tazers in a city with more gunshot deaths per-capita than LA.
Now if someone comes at me and the can accidentally goes down their throat before I fire, I can't really be blamed can I? >.> |

I have a plethora of sharp objects on me whenever I go out from my knives to my keys (place a key between each finger and make a fist) and a very pointy pen.
