I don't know if it has been said yet or not, but in my personal opinion a revolver is the best for CC. I would recommend any hammerless or bobbed hammer, double action snub nose. The absence of a hammer will prevent the weapon from being snagged on clothing when drawn. I would also highly recommend keeping one chamber empty. If the hammer is sitting on an empty chamber it will prevent an accidental discharge if the weapon were to become dislodged from its place of concealment and fall to the ground. There is also no possibility of a jamming problem with a revolver.

Actually I prefer an 1848 single action Colt Walker black powder ball-shot revolver. Just make sure it's already loaded before the gunfight begins...and DON'T miss!

Lived in Roanoke for 3 and a half years. That is actually how I lost my Connecticut pistol permit, my roommate and I got into a fight and we both pleated guilty to battery charges. I moved bak to CT and went to renew my permit and they told me I had to give it back. I need to appeal that crap.

I understand what a lot of you are saying, but technically if you are convicted of any felony, you cannot own any firearm ever again! The government doesn't always enforce it or check up on it but that is the law. I know many people also who own firearms who have a felony and it doesn't mean it is legal.

I have a concealed handgun license.. and used to be a bounty hunter. I collect swords and armor and still prefer a knife or sword to a gun, but I do have some fun play toys..
Carry a glock 17, also have a glock 22, glock 21. Due to moving and a few break ins I have these at my dads... Israeli Desert Eagle .50, Fully modulated standard issue Navy Seal MP5 with double clip, suppressor, laser, night and reflex optic sights.
