I just tried to add a new CC to my Paypal acount to pay a few guys here and stuff on ebay and guess what they did they just closed my acount !! the A-holes. cuz apparently you can't add to many cards at one time (that fair enough ) but I use a thing call 3v.ie . basically expendable CC's that you top-up with what ever amount you need.
that sucks they should be able to realize you use these cards as they all start with the same first digit combination .any why do they endorse the use of the 3vCard system if they only pi$$ and moan about you using to many !!! this sucks cuz now I'm gonna get negative feedback on my ebay account over these A-holes ! anyone else had similar dealings with them ?

Honestly, that kind of makes sense that they'd limit the number of those type of cards.

not to me it doesn't may so on real CC's but these are a expendable one you put the money in before you use them Ie pay in advance the use them once they are used you don't get to use them again . not like a regular CC. but as I pointed out they have all the same starting numbers so wouldn't it make sense for paypal to have some sort of tracking that tracks the number being used and can see thayt its a 3v one that way they wouldn't have to close peoples acounts like this.surely it wouldn't be hard to program somthing to do that

I have never had a bad experience with Paypal. I am very thankful such a institution exists. It makes things a lot safer when it comes to non-face to face purchases.

Why doesn't it make sense that they'd limit the use of these refillable cards? The whole point of Paypal is that it's a way to pay and provide protection for online purchases.
If I was Paypal I'd start to think something shady was up if those kind of cards kept getting used. Like Boff said, get a refillable one and use that.

I think they have a little different set up on things over in Ireland...
so I would imagine its not like in the states when it comes to re loadable cards etc. tycondrius, check to see if they have an International number for you to call, and get a rep on the phone to try and straighten it out. You have always been a friend, so just LMK if I can help you in any way at all.

Because it's not just "negative feedback on the interwebz" it's negative feedback in business dealings.
It's not the same as getting a reputation on a forum, if you do business thru the internet, feedback is a vital part of that.
