| Current or Ex-Military?
Who out there has served with their country's military? If so, can you tell me what branch, MOS, enlistment, deployment and discharge dates as well as where you've been stationed or deployed?
I was in the U.S. Army, was a 63S/H8 (heavy wheeled diesel mechanic and recovery specialist), and did two separate enlistment tours. The first was from 1995 to 1998, where I was in basic and AIT at Ft. Jackson, then was in 13th COSCOM, 62nd Engineer Bn., Ft. Hood, TX. We deployed in early 1998 to the Tex-Mex border to improve roads for the Border Patrol. Then I reenlisted 2001-2003, ended up in 1st ID, 601st ASB, Katterbach, Germany and deployed to Hungary for two months. Then I got out, and went to Tikrit, Iraq as a civilian mechanic for LSI, working on military vehicles. |
