I went shopping yesterday and well, Halloween will soon be upon us. I saw bags of Halloween candy and a few "sounds of Halloween" containing the generic tunes we hear every year. Spirit is opening in a week.
So post interesting Halloween stuff you've found this year. Your Halloween costumes, favorite Halloween traditions, favorite Halloween candy, etc. Basically, this is a discussion for all things Halloween! |

Last year I worked that night so I shaved my head, found a bright orange t-shirt and relaxed fit jeans at a goodwill and I went as my boss...I figured I'd be close but he was wearing ta-da a bright orange shirt and relaxed fit jeans...
This year? Not sure, thinking that if it isn't too cold I might go as some kind of mythic warrior, show off the fact that I've been working out...besides it's an excuse for all those cool plastic swords and axes I bought last year at target. I'll likely go in my normal duds and when asked I'll respond "I decided to go as a dude this year" |

Are you building zombies or what? Spirit always has nice props, but I don't see myself dropping 200 bucks on lifesize Freddy or Jason. |

I practically live for Halloween since I'm a costumer and it give me an excuse to dress up other people. I was planning on doing Baroness this year, but I'm already starting to show so that's out of the picture now. :(
This is our first Halloween at our house so I'm excited to get all the decorations up for Trick or Treaters. We'll probably make our own decorations though, except for picking up some lights and whatnot the next time we hit up one of the big box stores. |

I love Halloween. I do a cemetary in my front yard every year and add a little to it every year. This years additions are some spooky lanterns and a 6 foot tall grim reaper. Not sure what I would go as, but my wife and I had it planned to go as an old man in a wheel chair and a nurse last year, but things fell through.
Edit: I was going to be the nurse.

I ate my first bag of candy corn a couple weeks ago. My usual halloween "costume" is Jayne from Firefly/Serenity. I just wear my Jayne hat, a Blue Sun T-shirt, and my normal winter coat unzipped without the lining.
