I don't know if this has been done here before, but if you could have any group of musicians form the perfect band, who would it be? Here's mine:
Freddie Mercury (Queen)- Lead Vocals Eddie Van Halen- Lead Guitar Paul McCartney (The Beatles)- Bass Eric Carr (KISS)- Drums Mercury was unmatched as a singer, and was a great songwriter as well. Van Halen is the most innovative guitarist in the last 2 decades, maybe ever. There are better guitarists... but none as creative! Paul McCartney doesn't over do it at bass (that can kill a song), and is 1/2 of the greatest songwriting duo of the 60's. Eric Carr was a great drummer with a great attitude. He made KISS 1000 times better, and he could sing, which is always a plus. What do you guys think? Who would you choose for your "Cold Slither" line-up? |

Tossup between Freddie Mercury and Kate Bush on vocals.
Tom Waits on guitar (great singer, but he plays a meeean guitar ^^) Slash on base, mostly for look. Mozart on synth piano. Someone who can pound HARD on drums. Uhhhh, Chewbacca?!

Damn, there are so many greats out there, how do you choose.
Ultimate Metal Band Lead Vocals - Rob Halford (Judas Priest) Lead Guitar - Kirk Hammet (Metallica) Rythm Guitar - Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath) Bass - Les Claypool (Primus) Drums - Dave Silveria (Korn) The back and forth between Hammet and Iommi alone would be so awesome as to destroy the very universe. Ultimate Rock Band Lead Vocals - Meatloaf Lead Guitar - Joe Satriani Rythm Guitar - Brian May Bass - Flea Drums - Neil Pert (Rush) Sadly, there would be no room for a rythm guitarist due to the size of Pert's drum set. >_>;;; Edit: F--- it. We can't not have Brian May. |
