For all of Vince McMahon's creative flaws, Hogan and Bischoff are worse. If I had the money and wrestlers to compete against these guys, I'd either put them out of bussiness or make us all enough money to buy both companies twenty times over (when one wrestling company does well, they all seem to thrive for a while!). BTW, WCW self destructed, for the record. WWE did not put them under. WWE did well then, but it was the Time Warner/AOL merger, all of the spending from ATM Eric, Hogan's creative control clause paired with his out of control ego, and Vince Russo's stupidity that ended WCW. Now Eric, Hogan and Russo are all in TNA together. This will be a train wreck. Trust me.

I have to disagree. With all the WWE is doing wrong TNA is a million times worse. Right now TNA is starting to look like the final couple years of WCW. The people they trust to make the creative decisions are stuck in the past, and what's worse is they're stuck in the past of other companies! Calling out WWE every chance they get and saying they're going to be #1 while recreating the Montreal screw job in your main events makes the company look like a joke. Which honestly, it is.

Hogan thinks he is responsable for the 80's and 90's wrestling booms. Wrong. In the '80's, Piper, Savage, Steamboat, and Andre all contributed more than Hogan. He was just Champion. Jim Crockett Promotions put out a far superior product in Charlotte, NC. Ric Flair was like a rock star in the south. The Road Warriors revolutionized the industry. If Crockett hadn't been stupid with his money, they would have eventually taken wrestling by storm.
The '90's belonged to Hall, Nash, Michaels, Austin, and The Rock. Goldberg was hot for a while as well. Hogan's heel turn for the nWo was awesome at the time, but it grew stale (just like the '80's) quickly. I'm not saying Hogan hasn't secured his spot in wrestling history: he played a very large roll, indeed. I'm just saying he's not as big a legend as he thinks he is, and he can't make TNA #1 single handedly. |

I can't fault Nash too much: only a complete moron would make him, or any other active wrestler, a booker in the first place. His run as booker had it's entertaining spots, though. It wasn't as bad as Russo's!

The buy rates were down. The new PPVs had higher buy rates than the ones they replaced so they think the same thing will happen. They're just using it as an excuse. The '09 card was terrible and it was the night after a big UFC PPV. The last few years they didn't even focus on the tag team, elimination matches. Those matches were throwaway the way they treated them.

Remember when he 'lost' to Hogan when Hogan just touched him with his finger? hahaha, oh wow.
