I'm enjoying reading all of the negative comments about Hulk Hogan.
He is obviously the greatest professional wrestler that ever lived. I was watching a DVR'd episode of TNA this morning. I can't wait to see Hogan wrestle Abyss. I also hope to see TNA resolve the Jarret Hogan feud as well. Hogan in TNA, weather you like it, or you don't, is the greatest thing going in professional wrestling today. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! |

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Hogan will draw regardless for the simple reason there is a whole generation out there who never got to see him live. And to be honest there isn't much he can't do today that he did back then. Now if your going to talk about the best pro wrestler ever that has to go to the nature boy. Slick Ric was the man. He could go out there with a broom and for 45 minutes to an hour put on a hell of a show. And you know you would believe that broom had a chance to walk away with the world title (again see Lex Luger) Hogan was the first "Company" champ. He had the title and you knew that regardless of what monster they threw at him he would win. Flair was the last true "territory" champ. Regardless of who he went against he made them look better. You just knew they were going to take the title away from Flair, but at the end of the day he was still stylin' and profilin'. And both men came out better for it. Quote:
I gotta disagree with you on that last point. Nobody is a bigger Hulkamaniac than I am, but saying Hogan to TNA is the greatest thing going in wrestling today is like saying Emmit Smith going to the Arizona Cardinals for his last season was the best thing in the NFL. There's a lot of things going on in wrestling that will both draw and entertain more than this.

So how long until Brian Knobbs and Ed Leslie (Brother Bruti) show up in TNA?

Which brings up the theoretical question: what would you have done if Hulk's brains blew themselves all over you?

What current wrestling story lines are you more interested in? I'm a few weeks behind (I just got through the first week of post Hell in the Cell episodes). I'm digging Jerishow and Foley vs Abyss, but Hogan to TNA has got me excited. |
