Yep. I think AJ just signed a new contract recently. Even if Hogan is only a short term thing, I am sure he'll do plenty of damage to that locker room. Ego train, on the move!

When Nash showed up a few yrs ago he took a bunch of young guys under his wing and told them they needed personality and gave them gimmicks. He gave Jay Lethal the Macho Man's gimmick, outfit and all, and called him Black Machismo. This is he in all of his former awesomeness.

good for hogan, i hope he makes a killing off tna. he needs the money after his ex old lady took him to the cleaners. as for the nwo, i don't really care, i just hope hollywood shows up. he is so much better in the ring and on the mic as a heel. hell, gimmie mr. america, too, that was great.

the best thing about him now is his entrance, otherwise he is just another broken down old man.
here are some vids of the awesomeness that is hogan: actually check out the rest of the lamest moment series as they are pretty damn accurate. also here is a great vid of s. joe really saying what he thinks about this old farts in tna (its aimed at scott hall but it applies to all these guys they sign): Last edited by boff123; 10-27-2009 at 10:29 PM.. |

eh... Hogan sucks in the ring regardless of WHAT he is, face or heel.[/QUOTE]
i beg to differ. hollywood went way beyond the 3 move monotony that was hulkamania. his style changed dramatically, loosening up and really incorporating a lot more stuff. |

Honestly Hogan was a bore. I don't know how he was so over. Yeah he made wrestling but he was also trying to ruin it. He would never allow other wrestlers to get over on him, and both Vince and Bishoff always took his side. He is the reason why WCW went belly up.

I think the biggest thing that has me excited is Bischoff being on board. TNA needed a big shake up in creative and he is the man to do it. Oh and to all those that say Hogan never puts people over. Did you even watch his last Full Time run with Vince? He was putting people over right and left, and he Tagged with Edge to help elevate him.

As a face yeah three moves and out...... well a little more than that. It was (outside of pumping up the crowd) punch, body slam, close line, extra move (backdrop, atomic drop, suplex) big boot and leg drop. The rest of the time he spent getting beat down and working the croud. As a heel he couldn't get beat down for 5 moves then "hulk up" and leg drop. So yeah he would do more of the extra moves but they were the same things, I said before but the difference was he would thow in a headlock, armbar and a all of his extra moves. But most of what he did was "dirty moves" like pulling off his weight belt and hitting the other guy with it. I think the best match Hogan had in nearly 20 years was the one with The Rock. But then again he was against The Rock. There are some people who can just pump up a croud. Very few who can do it like Hogan. But the truth is as for his in the ring work I think most of the Divas have more skill. |

That and have you ever seen Hogan wrestle in Japan? MAJOR style difference.
And yes Hogan would put people over but only the people HE wanted to. Another example of that kind of BS is Stone Cold. Edge is a HUGE Hogan fan and kisses Hulk's ass every chance he gets. So yeah Hulk is going to put him over. Goldberg and Hulk were friends so yeah he would put him over. Hogan is an ICON in the busness. When "Real American" hits I still get chills. Seeing him come to the ring live when I was a kid in the yellow and Red pointing his finger running his mouth was amazing. To this day I still get chills when I see old clips of it. And when he hulks up.... you know what is going to happen and you know it's going to be lame but you fall for it every time. There isn't a single other wrestler in the world who can do that. ..................brother! |

In the Rock match they knew the crowd was going to cheer him (Vince even sent him home on his private jet to get his red and yellow gear but they did not use it) so they used it to turn him again as nobody wanted to boo him at that point so that's why he Hulked Up in that match.

well yeah "hulking up" was heroic. As a heel he couldn't do that. He had to cheat to get ahead or have somebody come in from the outside. Most of Hogan's matches ended that way when he was NWO.
