They didn't pretend he was new. They acknowledged that he's a former WWE wrestler who went to Japan, they just didn't name him. I don't think it's terrible that they're doing this. He's definitely a different wrestler. Japanese Strong style (a la Samoan Joe) is different from the American "Powerhouse" style. I'd definitely like to see more range from him, but I'm going to reserve judgement for a few weeks. He's only going to be booked in squashes for a while. Besides, he's a really nice dude. I have some friends who are friends with his wife and never has any of them ever said anything but the nicest things about Matt. You want people like him to succeed.

How do you know that's going to be his only finisher? In Japan he did a sit down tombstone and a TKO which looks way more vicious. He did the gasmask powerbomb too, but he switched it up. If they're going to go with this gimmick, he needs to have several ways to finish his opponents.

I've said this before...A-Train was a solid wrestler his first time around in WWE.
Now I also understand since his departure he has become even better in Japan...that being said he must have impressed SOMEONE enough to be brought back....BUT this gimmick is terrible. I mean can't he just be a bad ass dude? I mean ok maybe not call himself Prince Albert or A-Train but just some bad ass dude who went to Japan and became even harder? |

Holy Hell I haven't seen John Cena BI!#$ slap someone like he did Brock Lesnar since the Chris Jericho slap. Brock gave him a pretty good UFC jab to bust him open.
I don't see Brock Lesnar lasting an extended peroid of time. I've been hearing his attitude backstage is already bad and Trips is not keen on him. |
