That's how it should be ... the two biggest draws in the business should be the champions.
The problem wrestling has today is some people get bored if somebody keeps a belt for longer than a month so the WWE feels obligated to have 6-7 title changes a year. I would prefer Cena and Orton to keep the belt for an extended period of time and have longer feuds rather than dropping the belts every other month to build feuds. I am sorry but Alberto Del Rio and Mark Henry are the two worst champions ever associated with the WWE and World Championships. There have been so many other guys over the years that were great who never got to wear those belts but they give it to those two yo-yos. I partially agree. Long term title runs are definitely crucial, and should return to the norm. This adds prestige and value to a title. However, I think that Orton and Cena chasing the belts is more interesting then defending them and running through every superstar, week after week. A good example: When HTM was the longest reigning IC champion, I salivated week and again for someone (ANYONE) to take his title. I hated that guy so much as a child, and couldn't wait to see him get his. When UW finally took it from him, I popped like balloon. So long title runs, but not on Cena or Orton. |

Real quickly, multiple title changes are a result of a few things.
3) Its way more entertaining to see the face chase the heel for the title. Its proven time and time again in the ratings. It's not just Cena and that people will watch anyone BUT Cena, but it was true with Austin and Rock too. The majority of viewers are marks still, so lets not get it twisted with what we want. The general viewer doesn't want to see their fave get beat down week after week as the champ to prove the contender is a worthy opponent. They want to see their fave beating the crap out of the heel champ to prove he's a worthy contender. If the face champ wins, he goes onto the next one and its the same story. If the heel champ wins, the face finds a new way to overcome the adversity. It creates intrigue for the viewer. ^^^ This ^^^ - Well put. |

I don't understand why they want to invest their time in a stupid fucking untalented twit.
Kelly Kelly had NO WRESTLING EXPERIENCED when she was signed. She was purely hired because of her looks (which aren't that great, when you look at her face and realize how overrated she is). Her being pushed is a slap in the face to the ladies who actually had previous wrestling experience when hired and had to bust their asses getting to where they are. If they want to push someone against Beth and Natalya, it doesn't have to be Kelly Kelly. Tamina is a great wrestler. They are pushing AJ and she isn't bad. Eve is not a horrible wrestler. There is NO reason why they should be pushing Kelly Kelly. She is only popular because of her looks. Beth and Natalya on a losing streak is ridiculously stupid. They are being made to look incredibly weak, when they should both be FAR from weak. It's absolute bullshit and if the WWE wants to make the Diva's division at least somewhat respectful, you don't make two of the VERY FEW talented females look like garbage. - Trish has no experience either, and was just a pretty model when she started, and ended up being one of the greatest. However, I totally agree with you. KK has almost no talent, is clumsy, cannot speak, has that blank, vacant face with no personality behind it, and her screetchy, Matt Hardy screams make me nuts. I am hoping that they are just building to better things and KK is just the current swappable T&A. - Personally, I am ashamed that they did nothing with Gail. Even Eve has improved so much with her MMA training at Gracie Academy. |

Oops I messed the post up.Anyway what I meant to say is why are you all bitching about Mark Henry and Alberto Del Rio?The worst world champions in history are Kevin Nash,Vince Russo,David Arquette,Scott Steiner(during the nwo and post nwo before that he was great),Hulk Hogan(in WCW specifically),that crackhead Jeff Hardy, and anybody TNA pushes on us.

VH, I have to disagree with you a bit on the whole labeling anybody that TNA "pushes" on us as champ is an awful champ. If you think that, clearly you have never seen AJ Styles wrestle. And Bobby Roode is pretty awesome too, though he hasn't won the title yet (yet being the operative word).
