For all you "Wrestling" fans like me, a bit of interesting news. Ring Of Honor has been bought by the Sinclair Broadcasting Group. SBG owns Mynetworktv and CW and a majority of tv station in the states. It will be interesting to see what develops.

Not sure what you're implying with "wrestling," but I'm glad they found another company... hopefully they will air on channels I can actually see. I got HDNet for like the last two months they were actually on... was a good show

Just poking fun at WWE, and their deniel that they are not a wrestling company. There main product is wrestling and without that they would be nothing. Hell, there not even doing wrestling very good these days. They need to wake up, accept what they are, and then work toward making themselves relevent in todays soceity. But thats just my opinion.

Funny, because I laugh incredibly hard when anyone brings up the term "a true (insert topic here) fan."
I've been watching wrestling since I was 4 years (almost 29 years now) and this is the FIRST time I've heard of that hall of fame. Kinda cool they have an actual place for it, but I'm not gonna say either is a REAL hall of fame for an entertainment sport. Quote:
Laughing incredibly hard because you're so obviously a mark trying to be a smart. I forgot, you're a better fan than the rest of us, how silly of me. You obviously can read a little, so why do you choose to ignore the post I quoted? I was quoting someone else who mentioned WWE Hall of Famers.
Go back to worshiping CM Punk and telling yourself you're so much cooler than everyone else. LMAO! Um, my post was in NO WAY laughing AT YOU. I was laughing at the WWE HOF ITSELF. I was saying that I was laughing at how you brought it up because of the joke it is, not laughing at YOU in any way, shape or form. LAUGHING AT THE WWE HOF BECAUSE IT IS PATHETIC AND THEY DO NOT INCLUDE EVERYONE WHO DESERVES TO BE IN IT AND THEY INCLUDE PEOPLE WHO SHOULD BE NOWHERE NEAR IT. I never once tried to be a know it all in wrestling. Yes, I have watched it for a long time now, but I have never tried to imply I am a 'smark' or know everything about wrestling and I never once said I was 'cooler' than anyone else here. Give me a fucking break. I so don't worship CM Punk, I worship Roddy Piper =) See how ignorant people look when they make assumptions?

I didn't mean it in any negative way, it wasn't what I was trying to imply at all. I should have said that this HoF is the more respectable one that people should be paying attention to and not the joke WWE HoF, which doesn't give the respect to everyone who deserves it.
I can agree that the WWE HoF is more geared toward the entertainment portion at times, but it is what it is. Kinda cool to know that there is an alternative out there... also interesting that they just placed Vince in it. That goes a long way to me to show that they don't hold any animosity or anything toward the WWE HoF. I respect that

Yeah, the WWE HoF is now more towards entertainment, which is why they include entertainers that have nothing to do with wrestling (*cough*DrewCarey*cough*)
I know why they included guys like Koko....he was big with the kids, yeah, but what did he really do to make an impact on wrestling? Nothing.....and the fact that guys like Macho Man didn't even get it yet (though I am sure he is a shoe in now, which is sad, because people shouldn't have to die in order to get considered) but, wow, Macho Man was bigger than Koko could ever be......not many people will say they got into wrestling because of Koko. If you look at the list in the link I posted, you will see that a lot of the guys you would imagine being in it are in it, on top of respecting the old school wrestlers from way back, and all different promotions. Granted, it hasn't been around as long as the WWE HoF, which shows even more how much better it is that it came along later yet still has deserving people in it that the WWE one doesn't have. Also not saying that the WWE doesn't have deserving people in it....they sure do, but, in general, it's a joke....guys that have nothing to do with wrestling, wrestlers that aren't in it that should have been in it a long time ago....probably one of the things that irks me the most about the WWE HoF is the time in which some people get inducted.....Eddie dies, gets in the next year. HBK retires, gets in the next year. Why should these guys beat other people in? Of course they should be in it but do they need to be RIGHT AWAY? I don't agree with that..... If the WWE wants to somewhat redeem themselves, they should induct both Macho Man and Elizabeth next year.

I was already expecting Macho to be a lock for next year with him appearing in the new game, figures being released... it seemed like Macho Man and WWE had gotten over whatever had kept them apart for so long.
With his passing, he's definitely a shoe in this coming year, but I still wish we could have had an acceptance speech from him.

Over The Limit results. R-Truth pinned Rey Mysterio, Ezekial Jackson beat Wade Barrett by DQ, Sin Cara pinned Chavo, and now the Tag titles are on the line.
