That Titans game was great. Vince Young took another one away from Leinart.

Let's not go that far now. Rex lost us the super bowl that Orton worked hard to get to. Problem is, there is no secondary besides Charles Tillman on defense. Anyone can pass on them. The offensive line is a joke (a bad one at that) and Forte is piss poor this year thanks to it (partially).
No matter what, if this season is a bust like it is there needs to be a coaching shake up. Lovie has no emotion and Turner never has had better than a 20th ranked offense. All these players are professionals so it depends on the coaching to get the best out of each one of them. |

Well that's true Great points you made ^
I just get so mad sometimes when this stuff happens Rex did suck I know. I wonder if Orton would have done better this year with the Bears. |

Orton would have been the same. He has no long ball and the Bears have never tried to protect the QB. They have always been a run oriented team and never cared about who throws the ball. That's why they have had so many QB's since McMahon. The most in the league in that time span I believe. Again, it comes down to how you're taught. If the coaching sucks so will the players. Time to make some moves. They might as well get rid of Angelo in the office. It's not like they have draft picks to scout. And I get mad too as you can see by some of my other posts. I'm just over it now. As long as we don't do worse than Detroit. |

Tillman was the only Bears player that stood out to me today that he hadn't cashed it in. I was surprised the Bears hardly tried to run the ball. Yeah, your behind and the Vikes have a great run defense, but at least try to keep the other team honest on D.
There's no positive spin for the Bears right now. No low draft picks for next year. Their best plan would be to bring in a new big name head coach and hope that it can help them sign some players in the off-season. However, I have no idea what next year free agent pool is going to be like. As much as I'm enjoying the Vikings season, I was really hoping for a competitive NFC North overall. Today should have been a huge division matchup. Now, just need the Saints to lose a few games... |

I think the Bears have to go after Shanahan. He wants to GM as well, so that would mean Angelo would be out. Complete overall of the coaching and front office staff.
But with the investment made in Cutler, with the extension they gave him, it would make no sense for them not to go after Shanahan the person who got the best results from Cutler.

Just my opinion, but I don't think Lovie should go. I believe he needs some time - Cutler is better than he is playing and amongst other things their defense is what needs some help. Offensively Hester is not a number 1 receiver and they need deep play guys and depth at the running back position - I love the little RB from NIU but he will never be a big time back. Don't forget - Lovie did bring this team to the Super Bowl a couple years ago - very few current coaches can say that.
