He defiantly left his mark on pop culture. Those were the definitive films of the 80's teen comedy genre. Today's movies about weird little pregnant chicks are no where near as funny as a drunk Asian foreign exchange students.

He hasn't done anything worthwhile since Christmas Vacation and that was in '89. Now unless my math is off, John Hughes has been RIP'ing for the last 20 years.

Sad to hear he's gone to be honest, I can honestly say when I was in HS, and I saw The Breakfast Club one day on TV it became one of those films that can have a great impact on a person. I mean it caught me at my own time in my life when I didn't know who I was and that film helped a lot.
Thank you, Mr. Hughes.

"What would you little maniacs like to do first?"
" Abe Froman, Sausage King of Chicago?" Between weird science, and Ferris Bueller this guy and Hasbro basically raised me. It's like my favorite uncle died. R.I.P. Big Man~ make awesome movies up there and when we all croak we can dig on them then! Doubters and Haters check out his filmography, if you liked movies during the 1980's he probably had a hand in it.
