Yeah i believe...
I have been in situations before where i felt like i wasn't the only one in the room, strange thing is though i was or so i thought. One time i was working at a lumber yard after hours hanging drywall and doing some painting etc. I was the only one there at nearly 11pm when i hear the door alarm go off, you know the kind at convenience stores that sound when someone comes in or out. I checked it out and no one had come in or out at all in several hours. This occurred twice at different times and i got the feeling that i wasn't alone after that. Nothing creepier then that happened though. I finished my work and left like a half hour later. I went back several other nights but it never happened again, just that one night when i was working by myself. |

Yes:
My Aunt, Uncle and 4 kids lived in a house up in Lake Arrowhead, California. My Aunt, who I have always believed was crazy anyway, kept saying that she had a ghost in her house that she named 'Lilly', that seemed to like her husband & kids a lot. Knowing my Aunt is usually 90% full of B.S., I ignored her. Then my uncle began freaking out about it, because apparently, it was now 'messing' with him as well. He was starting to see, feel, and hear things that he could not explain. This made the story a little more believable, but seeing as how my Aunt already divorced 3 guys for various reasons, I also felt that she could be behind the scenes saying: "Agree with me or else, F$%ker!" Then, my wife and I went over for a barbeque at the house. Immediately I was creeped out by the place. It was one of those chalet type houses, with three stories, the bottom most story was built into the mountainside, which also served as one of the basement walls. There was just an air to the place that was off. So we all sit down to eat, my wife and I are sitting at the bar that faced the kitchen. Directly in front of us was a cooktop that held a plate of steaks. across from that was the stainless steel refrigerator. To the left (on an opposite wall) was the sink where my uncle was washing dishes. My Aunt walks past us, around into the kitchen, up behind my uncle and puts her arms around his waist to give him a hug. The minute she squeezes him, the plate of steaks sitting on the cooktop, shoots off and hits the refrigerator hard enough to leave a dent. There were a few other odd things that happened that night as my wife and I went to leave, but none were as impressive as the flying plate of steaks. Crazy aunt or not, yes, I believe. |

I don't know, and I suppose by their very nature, it's impossible to know.
I do believe that the electrical processes in the brain that make up our individuality (our 'soul' if you will) remains after death ('energy' can't be destroyed), but where does it go? Does it dissapate? Can it be absorbed into some material giving rise to the 'stone tape' theory? Can it retain it's integrity and personality and continue to 'live'? I'd like to say yes.

Only experience I've ever had... I wish I could go back to the place and check it out with some 'Ghost Hunters' equipment, but someone else owns the place now.
Funny thing is, you're from this area, she was wondering when they rented it, how they were able to get a 3 story chalet style home with a view of the lake for only $916 a month in rent. She confronted the landlord about it when they eventually broke the lease, and he let them slide on all penalty fees and even gave her back her security deposit. |
