Taking her to your stomping grounds good idea! You can't beat the VIP treatment when out on a date.

ROFL
...no wait, you mean good. On topic: i'm not on the wagon, but i'm definitely buying RoC figures. The trill is definitely there. Why? Cos around here, we don't have the rush of go hunting. We droll looking at the PC screen, and order some (just some of what you really want) and wait weeks for it. When the stuff finally arrives, i say" wow shit fuck cool" and throw thefigures in my toy's box. But RoC gives the overseas buyers the chance of going to look the shelves, and pick one. i felt like a kid again -much to my shame- last time, and now i'm thinking on going huntin' again. I should stop, cos is really expensive here. Insanely.

I'm liking the new Joes. Sure, they aren't the 25th annivesary figures. They aren't Resolute either. However, I think that Hasbro has done a good enough job of updating the figures to attract a new audience. The updated gear and armor is definitely a plus to me. Thank goodness the neon repaints of the 90s are done!
Don't get me wrong. I would love to see the 25th anniversary style continue on. And I would be all over Resolute figs like green on Lady Jaye's jumpsuit. Heck, they NEED to make those figures. However, I think the RoC line does the legend justice. And I, too, am glad that they are able to incorporate soem of the things I loved most about GI Joe when I was growing up. As far as your date, Gamble. She's smiling like she had fun. Hope it doesn't spoil it when she learns about your Joe collection. Thank goodness my wife is okay with my collection. But I don't think she knows how large the USS Flagg really is. I'm gonna have to set it up in the living room one of these days!

I'm actually driving the wagon with a whip in one hand and a Paris Pursuit Snake Eyes in the other. I will always be die hard ARAH, but I think G.I. Joe needs to evolve and the latest step in the evolutionary chain is RoC, I'm still hoping for more Resolute though.
