well, I've met Paul Bearer (The Undertakers old manager) it was funny when I told him how long I'd watched him. He said "that was a long time ago" Same thing when I told Mick Foley how long I'd watched him. I've seen Mick Twice. I met the Rock when he was still Rocky Miavia. I met British Bulldog and Owen Hart.
I also got to meet Tommy Iommi. Also some of the guys from Arch Enemy.

I went to private Christian elementary school with Dale Earnhardt Jr. He got picked on alot because his dad drove racecars, and the other kids thought that was white trash.
Guess he showed them. Those same kids picked on me because my dad was in the Marines stationed in Japan, and therefore wasn't home. Couple years ago, I ran into Junior at a drug store in Mooresville, NC. My Pepsi route truck had a Mt Dew Amp picture on the back and he had to follow me for a couple miles. He said it was weird following his picture around. He didn't know me until I told him the story about those kids picking on us. He remembered it and made the comment how "he'd like to see those snobby ass kids again".

Was living in Cali and went to Sun City Bowl in Riverside. Was walking out of the arcade and bumped into Chuck "Freaking" Norris. Nice guy. Met Jeff Hardy outside of a wrestling event. Had his head down wearing a hoodie and came to us and asked for a lighter. Said if we didn't freak out he would sign some stuff for us.

I've met Gyre Viper, does that count?
I worked at a custom car shop for 5 years and met some cool people. NFL players- Jabar Gaffney (Redskins WR) Rasheen Mathis (Jaguars CB) Hugh Douglas (formerly with the Jags, currently retired and works as an ESPN analyst.) Mike Peterson (Falcons LB) Danny Wuerffel (Heisman trophy winner) Stylez G. White (currently free agent, DE) Marcus Stroud (Bills, DE) MLB Ryan Howard (Phillies, 1B) Matt Garza (Rays, Pitcher) NBA Jerome James (Knicks, C) 7 foot 2 WWE Hulk Hogan Bryan Nobbs (lives down the road from me). Rappers David Banner Funkmaster Flex Nelly Missy Elliott Ying Yang Twins (partied with them ) That's who I can think of right now. Those are the people I've actually talked to and gotten to kinda hang out with. I've also gotten to go to many meet and greet type events and met people that way.

Last winter I met Jennette McCurdy (Sam Puckett from ICarly) at the Cincinnati cavalcade of customs. She is blonde, cute as a button, and barely legal, just 18.

Holy necro-thread, Batman!
I saw Curtis Sliwa (the founder of the Guardian Angels) in the Newark, NJ airport one time. Yeah, that's all I have.... EDIT: Well, I'm from the Bangor area, so I've seen Stephen King many-a-time around here. His house is only a mile or two from me. No one even cares that he's famous around here. He can live his life without being bothered too much. I've seen him numerous times at a local Irish bar (Geaghan's), and no one even talks to him. We don't give a shit, honestly - he's a local like the rest of us. Yet another reason Maine is cool. Last edited by Cobra Terrorist; 11-27-2011 at 07:42 PM.. |

And he's a major doucher. Another reason nobody talks to him. lol
I met Magnum PI at LL Bean once. He was a super cool guy and we talked hunting and guns. Also met Kurt Russell up here. He has a place where I like to fish, and he is considered a local so he acts like one. Nobody local bothers him. He seems like a cool guy. Ive met a few wrestlers back in the day. My gramp worked at a place that held a wrestling event and I got into the locker room and met Hogan, Snuka, Piper, Studd and Andre, among others. This was in the heyday and it was really cool. They were all sitting around playing cards, drinking and smoking. Ive met a few racers back in the mid '80s because my family was huge into racing and we traveled all over to race. I have a cousin who played major league ball and Ive met a bunch of ballplayers. I played hockey my whole life and have met a ton of NHL players over the years, going to signings and games, etc. They are all, for the most part, super normal and cool guys. Musicians. I went to a well known music college and have a number of friends who are record label artists. My wife is a fairly well known music teachers and has taught a number of kids who have gone on to be "famous". Ive met a bunch of musicians. And Ive met a bunch of famous people in my profession, and Im considered famous in it too. Its always odd when someone asks for an autograph. One big reason I like my anonymity here.
