Kinda. When the G.I. JOE cartoon came on Denver 2, they ran a contest. You had to send in your picture and call the phone number for a chance to win the full toy line at that point, Blinky the clown would come on during the commercial breaks and show the pictures of the people who entered the contest, during the fourth part of the Pyramid of Darkness they showed my picture. I won a Cobra Claw but not the grand prize.

Back in high school, 1993 to be exact, I produced and filmed a video for my high school about the importance of continuing education beyond high school. I had several of my high school friends, dressed as a doctor, lawyer, scientist, office administrator, teacher, film maker, business owner, etc...and selected different locations for filming, like the hospital, County Courthouse, and a couple local businesses. A doctor was nice enough to let us film outside his, extremely nice, home and his Mercedes Benz, to represent material wealth. The video got such positive reviews that it was selected to air on NBC but the video cassette was destroyed when my car was stolen and dumped in a river.
