Pretty fun and nostalgic trip down memory lane for those of us who grew up in the 80's with McDonalds. The Happy Meal toys were better, the collectable glasses were fun and the chicken nuggets were better back then too! I miss the fried apple pies, all they have now is that baked shit.

Fun read, and without any annoying pop-ups. In the 90's, my mom sold off all our 1980s Happy meal toys for like 10 cents each. Definitely had the Bearenstien Bears, muppets, and the transformers. Also, that Mac Tonight mascot gave me nightmares as a kid.

I remember some of these. The one thing they missed out on, was the playhouses the happy meal boxes turned into. As I recall with the hot wheels, you could punch are doorways to drive cars through the box, like it was a garage. I seem to also recall one being a playhouse, maybe for the Bearenstein Bears or some similar scaled figures.

That was a good read.
Every generation looks back from a nostalgic view and swears they had it best as kids. But dang it - us 80s kids are right. |

I still have a stack of different tray liners with different advertisements on them...haha.
My friend gave them to me thinking I might be able to sell them.

A few years ago we were traveling through some remote town in Michigan and there was a McDonald's that still had a statue of the Moon head guy.
