Main card
If a pay-per-view has the potential to be good, like tonight, we have bunch of peeps over and fix a big meal, and drink a lot beer. Tonight its gonna be slow-cooked baby back ribs and Carolina Blonde as the beer of choice. I predict Brock Lesnar as the undisputed heavyweight champ. Either that or Frank Mir breaks his leg. |

I would love to watch it, but I just cant justify paying the outrageous pay per view price. I will just watch when it eventually comes on Spike TV.

My thoughts:
Mir by submission: Brock will win if he keeps this standing, but I kinda think Mir has his number. GSP by TKO: Alves has the best chance winning if he can stay standing long enough to catch GSP in the first couple of rounds, but in reality, I think GSP takes him down at will. Alves may stuff a take down or two, but eventually GSP gets him down and GnP's him to death. Alves has a much shorter reach than GSP (like six inches or something) so he's gonna have to get inside, which means takedown territory. I think what we'll see is GSP won't shoot like normal due to Alves' knees, so he'll clinch and take him down. If Matt Hughes can get Alves down, so can GSP. Fitch by decision: Fitch is gonna do what he always does: grind out a win. I doubt Thiago catches him like he caught Koscheck. Bisping by split decision: This one is tough to call, I really think it could go either way. Hendo has that great right hand, the wrestling, and the granite chin. No one has ever KO'd him, and it sure as heck won't be Bisping (he's got no power). However, Bisping has great ability to stand back up if taken down, and he's in better shape. The last few fights, Hendo has shown he's lost a bit of his cardio, so I think Hendo wins first round, but Bisping takes the last two. At least one judge will see it Hendo's way. Akiyama by one sweet, sexy submission. Belcher's a decent fighter, but he's off and on, and really not consistent. I think Akiyama will sub him by the second round. Go Sexyama! |

I'm with you Mir has the experience but I think Brock is just a better pure athlete. The thing that got me was in there 1st fight, I saw an interview with Mir and he said he knew exactly what Brock was going to do. "get on top and Donkey Kong me". Problem was Mir didn't have a defense for that because thats exactly what Brock did, at will. I still believe that, there match could have been called because Brock was feeding Mir shot after shot. I hated Brock in the beginning too! getting pushed by Dana and his cockiness, but know hes more humble and respectful. GSP hands down, this guy just keeps getting better and better. He's looking for a legacy not a championship and Alves is just another step. I hate Bisbing, but I think hes got this one. |

Brock will smash Mir
GSP, I got my money on Thiago not even making it out of the first round. Hendo, Hendo, Hendo, hope he smashes Bisping Finch for the win! |
