His Marvel movie cameos were so fun and often so clever. The Infinity War one still makes me laugh. RIP, STAN THE MAN.

I loved the intros he did for the Spider-Man and Hulk cartoons and the X-Men pilot.

I feel like my life is over. RIP Stan.

I was born in 74 so I missed out on his work, but thanks to the Essential series that reprinted those stories in black and white I got to read Marvel from the beginning. His run on The Amazing Spider-Man was just fantastic. The Fantastic Four was ground breaking. He made his characters human. Mr. Lee was also one of the best salesman that comics will ever see. He made the creators of the comic's stars by giving them nicknames like Jack the King Kirby, Jazzy John Romita, or Strudy Steve Ditko. Comic won't be the same without him.

First Burt Reynolds, now this. If anything happens to Steve Martin I'm giving up.

Very sad news, never met the guy one on one but did catch his panel at Planet Comic Con a few years back. He was always fun to listen to in the interviews that he gave and I loved his enthusiasm and positive out look, it was always very infectious. But I take comfort in knowing the man lived a long life and helped make the world a more entertaining and fun place to live.

I last went to SDCC in 1998, and made a point of meeting Stan Lee and shaking his hand because I thought at the time he'd be gone any minute. Twenty years later, he is. Guy was a living legend while he was around, and just a straight up legend now that he's gone.
