Do you mean that I might want to vary my brand(s) of paint depending on what body parts/types of plastic I need to paint? I'm just planning on painting up a couple figures probably from scratch. Nothing weird, but I've got no experience at all. Among other things, I'm thinking of buying the parts to build a Sgt. Slaughter, since you've probably seen the aftermarket prices on him.
Yeah, probably bbi on second thought. I only have their pistol-grip M590 shotgun, but I'm pretty sure one of their weapon sets included a rifle-stock shotgun (possibly with a locker or tube case). Yes and no, which is ultimately user preference as long as the paint is still acrylic. I do vary which brand I’m going to use based on the body part and experience with the paint. For example, the Zartan I painted on the previous page red/brown is burnt red from Vallejo, the black is Vallejo, the silver is metallic from Tamiya, and the white on the eyes is from Model Masters. From my perspective, you can gain the most from tips and techniques from other tankers. When I use different brands I have tested how they work with different brush types and sizes and it’s how I know what I’m going to pick based on the area and detail work I’m going to do. Test a few things and see what works for you, ask questions along the way when you’re having issues, and be patient. Hopefully all this incoherent rambling helps, haha.

As a guy who considers falcon among his favorites, i was looking forward to the reveal. Love the vibe of it. In the mix - fucking dudes up. Shotgun is a fantastic touch as well
