Man, I just got back from this movie....and I just didnt like it. It seemed like everybody else in the theater did though. It just seemed like a continuation of the first one....crazy special effects with a bunch of crude jokes in between. Dont get me wrong, the special effects were awesome....but I just cant dig on the story line or even the new transformers. I guess Im just too old school.

Alright, saw it this morning, best time to go.... ;)
I liked it, but I didnt like the sexual crap and the Twins are annoying! What ever the name was for the old Black Bird, he made up for most of it, he was awesome! If I see a good figure come out of that guy, I'm getting it. And I dont have any right now.... lol All in all, It was not that bad. The fights were sweet, but the camera was all over the place so I'm glad my brother and I didnt see it in IMAX.... We wont be taking his little boy's to see it though. Too much for them.... It's too bad it wasnt more kid friendly...

Ever single review Ive read has been vastly NEGATIVE.
Hell on AICN they are tearing it a new one...and what really gets me is that Harry Knowles is now obviously trying to win over the hate mongering talkbackers by saying that Michael Bay is a racist and so is George Lucas?!?!?! I thought he LOVED the prequels????? ....why do I bother with that site?...... And for the record, I found things to like about the prequals, but Jar Jar's whole character had what writers call, "unfortunate implications" (I remember even Knowles used the term "Stepin Fetchit" in his review of AOTC). That being said, everyone is saying that Mudflap and Skidz make him look like a paragon of political correctness by comparison, so yeah. |

If Harry Knowles is crapping on a Michael Bay movie then it's snowing in Hell. The only people he tries to win over are the studio junketeers.

I agree as well, and hearing Frank Welker voice him was very cool. I also thought it was a cool nod how Ravage was "ejected" from Soundwave.
