i'm not a transformers fanboy, so i was able to go and enjoy the first movie in a way that i know i won't be able to enjoy the gi joe movie (or any spider-man movie). i'm glad to hear that tf2 will be fun to watch, too.

Review: Transformers
someone wasn't as big a fan of it. alot of early press is bad, so I'm not expecting much and still will probably enjoy it. but it does lend credence to the rumor that Joe was tracking better than ROTF. the problem is, people are going to see ROTF regardless, Joe kind of depends on good word of mouth IMO. |

I know what you mean..she looks kinda greasy sometimes...maybe shower her off first hehehe...
It actually slows down a few times - especially when sam meets his room mate. The main new autobots are the twins - who I think will totally divide people (One of my friends said they were like jar jar binks x2 but i thought they were funny). There were a few scenes where I really got chills and the overall story couldve come straight from the cartoon IMO. SPOILERS!!!!!!!!*************** 3 2 1 *************************************** I felt Megatron and The Fallen almost had a Vader/Emporer Palpatine thing going on. I completely agree, that's exactly what I thought and the fight scenes with Prime were the best...very dramatic

"I felt Megatron and The Fallen almost had a Vader/Emporer Palpatine thing going on."
This was mentioned in a rare interview with the writers. I live near Bethlehem PA, and actually got to see them film the entire beginning action sequence in "China". My buddy, who I work with at my video/media company who's also a photographer, took some cool photos of the day I'll share some of the stuff from the adventure. It was last June-ish and it was rainy as shit most days, and there were like 50 or so helicopter run thrus and such before they got it right in the night time. There were prob about six to ten camera set ups on each shot- which is a lot. It was really amazing how the scale of this panned out. Bay is a commander on set. He works the shit out of his performers and loves to make them do wind sprints before intense takes, to make them look out of breath and sweaty, which I thought was an interesting little tidbit to methodize the acting. I'm glad to read a good review. I'm tired of this movie getting slammed (mostly by the criticts.)
