I know this is probably the wrong place to post this but we don't have a book section here so I thought I would post it in here for more to see.
I am huge on military books, reading, learning about the history, battles and what not.
I have finished reading House to House; An Epic Memoir of Urban Warfare by David Bellavia, this book is seriously excellent, I read it in like alittle over a week...
Just wondering though, can people suggest some books along the same lines that would also interest me in reading please, cheers.

Rogue Warrior by Dick Marcinko
It's autobiographical about his times as a SEAL in Vietnam and afterwards, heading up SEAL team 6 and Red Cell, a Navy anti-terrorist unit. A very excellent book about spec ops from the inside. Covers how hard they train and how things can go wrong in a fight.
It led to a series of fiction novels, the firstcouple of which are excellent, the latter ones... not as much but still good reads.
Rainbow Six by Tom Clancy
A pretty good look at how an international Anti terrorist force would be put together and trained, and the terrorists they want to take down.

Where to start...I love military history books, and military fiction as well. A few I can suggest:
Black Hawk Down by Mark Bowden, None Braver by Michael Hirsh (PJs in Afghanistan), anything by Tom Clancy (he has both fiction and non-fiction to choose from), The Hunt for Bin Laden by Robin Moore, Kill Bin Laden (can't remember the author's name), Inside Delta Force by Eric Haney (the inspiration for the TV show The Unit).

Eye Deep In Hell. I can not remember the name of the author and it is an older book, But, it is great none the less. It is an in depth look into what life was like for the day to day trooper serving in the trenches durring World War One. It's loaded with pictures and casualty statistics, poems written by soldiers, letters and much more.

This sure has a lot to do with G.I. Joe action figures!
Guys you gotta support G.I. Joe or else we won't have G.I. Joe on the shelves and they haven't released Spaceshot. We can't have an anniversary line without Spaceshot!

Not a suggestion, just a comment -- I read House to House a few months ago when 6 pages in, my boss' name is in there (Col. Peter Newell). Great book, and I see what he expects out of his Soldiers after reading it.
Anyway, "Kill Bin Laden" is a GREAT read, if you're interested in Delta Operators and the early days of Afghanistan following 9/11.
Don't know who the author is, but I'm tracking down a book called "Anaconda" as well
