I dig Elvis but mainly tragic old Elvis. Something about the video of him from that era makes me sad.
Worst thing is I live in TN but never been to pay my respect. I see it as living near Golgotha but never checking it out. |

Other than work at a 7-11.
The Manson reference was to the fact that when he first hit the airwaves he was picketed, protested, and generally villified by parents and religious leaders. His hips could supposedly cause the downfall of the American youth. It was a comparison to the level of crap he got for his controversy.
