You do realize they know what causes pregnancy? I have a 5 and half month old and my wife is now almost 3 months pregnant. You do the math the new one is going to be born almost to the day. What is even stranger is my wife has been pregnant 3 times in two years. We lost our first one and then she got pregnant two weeks later with our first child and now we have another on the way. What is really funny well maybe not for her she has been pregnant almost consistently for two years.

My daughter was a birth control baby. When my daughter was born I had to grow up and face responsible, but having a kid did not change who I was. After my daughter was born I did give up a lot of thing that I enjoyed, but I never gave up my toys. I just saw it as buying toys for two. Now my daughter is 15 and my toy collection has not changed. My wife has learned to accept my collecting. Her friends ask her "How do you put up with a room full of toys?" her response is "My husband don't cheat, he don't go out drinking with his friends or go to strip bars. He works hard to make sure we have the things we need and want. I can't say that about your husbands or boyfriends." I have been married for 15 years and I am still a kid at heart. Good luck and congratulation.

Let me know if you need to sell your Joes for Diaper money...
I have twins, so I understand the freakout part pretty well. But there's something to be said for the unconditional love a child has for Mommy and Daddy...you are their entire world. It's worth every headache, freakout, and monetary expense you'll face. Congrats and good luck. Mojo |

Congrats, man! I've thrown caution to the corner once to many times as well, hence my kids are 11.5 months apart.
My 2 cents: Cent 1: Whatever your kids do, however tired you are, however frustrating the situation, always remember you brought that child into the world. When you're sick of changing diapers or buying children's clothes, or hearing him/her ask "why" for the 1000th time, it's not fair to get frustrated with them. Cent 2: Be ready and willing to make whatever sacrifices are necessary to make your child's life a happy one. That includes Joes. That includes "your time". That includes whatever it has to. Give up yourself and put your child first, every time. Also, this is the coolest thing that will ever happen to you. Enjoy every minute of your children. They're the highlight of my day.

You're already on your way to being an excellent father. When my cousin was two years old I always drilled it into his head. I would always ask him "who's the best team" and he would yell "da Bears!!". Then I asked him who was the worst team and his response, "the Vikings!". His dad the Vikings fan was not stoked. Congrats bro'. You'll do a fine job.
