Back in the 80's they knew how to make catchy melodies for TV:
Diff'rent Strokes Facts of Life Greatest American Hero Happy Days Laverne & Shirley The Jeffersons Cheers Silver Spoons Who's The Boss One Day At A Time CARTOONS Spider-Man (the Ralph Bakshi one) Star Blazers Gummi Bears (I will get up and dance to this to this very day) The Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Show |

I'm surprised it hasn't been mentioned yet, but Doctor Who for me. It's one of those magic tracks that everyone knows even if they aren't fans of the show.

The Greatest American Hero. I remember that song getting lots of radio play. The song was "Believe It or Not".

In more recent times, I really liked the theme from Third Watch. It had that wierd slow down swooshing warping sound in the middle of it.

The 90's x-men, brings back memories of lonely dorkdom. However i love the theme from smallville only because remy zero is pretty much my favorite band.
