So I guess InGen hired a bunch of retired ex-Steel Brigaders to fight dinosaurs. Honestly, every time Hoskins opened his mouth I kept thinking about how a certain terrorist organization would pay him very well for that suitcase of Indominus DNA

Agreed, definite Weyland-Yutani vibe. How about those ACU and InGen Troopers though? Apparently if you throw enough money at a problem, you'll get a private army. Too bad they didn't invest in a helicopter pilot trained in combat maneuvers.
