I'm organizing a team building for our department team. We'll be having it this April and I'm both nervous and excited as this is the first that I've been given such a task. It's going to be in some posh resort. Three days and three nights. All expenses paid by our company. I'm in charge of all the planning, food, etc as I am the team leader. I've been trying to come up with games and activities that will interest my team. The focus is on communication styles so it's better if some of our activities relate to this.
Any recommendations, tips and advice on how I can give my team the best stress-free, fun and memorable team building of their lives? I'm also open to all suggestions when it comes to the games and activities? What do you think are good prizes and giveaways? |

Hello, you have to put in mind the goals of your team building activity, what do you want to achieve and develop among your co-workers. When coming up with an activity be sure to relate it with the struggles your employees are experiencing in their daily routines and make sure that the exercises are not too physically demanding. Ensure that everyone can participate, learn and have fun.

I would suggest some of the team building games we play with students. You might Google; classroom+four corners and classroom+jigsaw. Those are the two off the top of my head. They work for extra-verts and intra-verts.

We had fun during our team building. It turned out to be more like a vacation with friends rather than something that is work related. We tried some of your suggestions so thank you very much! ^^ We also tried some new communication styles games. I'm so looking forward to our next team building!
