Every man in the world should grow a full beard at least once in his life.
I feel I must defend my position as a hairy guy. Many of us can't shave twice a day. Have you seen how much decent razorblades cost these days? Eff that. I look awesome with a beard. And I'm a pretty good person. |

The shadow is about as close to clean shavin' as I get. F#!k a razor, that's for dudes that have to wear a tie to get a check. No offense to those that go that route, most of my friends do, it's just not how I do it.

So there is a huge movement against facial hair? I must have missed that story on CNN.

Haha! I used to have a mustache but I think that's because it made me feel a little more grown up in my early 20's. Now, every time I see a mustache, I think of The Bandit, Magnum PI or Matt Houston. Definitely a very 80's look.
I think a goate is still acceptable if you're a baseball player(especially a closer) or work at Rasputin Music. A beard seems to be the ultimate no-no unless you live in Alaska or you're going for the Santa Claus, Grizzly Adams or Abraham Lincoln look. This is just my opinion though so hopefully nobody is offended by it. Ultimately, I think that the more facial hair you have, the less employable you look. Most if not all of us have been interviewed for a job at one time or another and facial hair is usually strike one.

The "gas station attendent" look is popular there. Last edited by Zoltron; 05-10-2009 at 03:52 AM.. |
