Sorry but I'm not signing because I believe one man cannot make a difference. Maybe when the economy gets better prices on everything from groceries to our beloved Joes will drop, but our $4.99 days are over. Now, what we need is a petition to re-release the damn "Best of the '80s DVD" set. FOUR to a case!!!

I bet if wave 14 or the new 7-pack shows up at HTS or BBTS, priced at $7.99 per single pack or $35 for the 7-pack, at least half of these folks would rush to get their orders in. lol.

I'm not a toy expert but I've bought enough throughout my life that I remember prices. When I was a young lil' 82 saving up my lawn mowing money to buy toys Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars were a $1 each......25 plus years later they're still a $1. No reason why Joe and other action figures need to be $7.99 or more. Price has nothing to do with articulation. These things are produced by the tens of thousands. I bet they'd sell twice as many if they dropped the price.

why $4.99? if we are going to ignore factors that influence price and just champion an abitrary price simply because we believe it should be that amount with no basis for that position, go all the way with it and ask for $1.99. or better yet, 99 cents. don't be pansies.

1.99 will never bee seen this much is known...but the whole point is that many of us are tired of everything being over-priced. If this works who is to say the same can't be done about other products as well? Start small and THEN aim higher. But appeareantly the masses must be content with paying higher than should be prices...but i know i am not.

I agree 4.99 sounds nice, but 5.99 is more likely to happen. The most likely is 9.99. The real problem is people paying 15+ on ebay for common figs just to get them before they show up around them. I'm sure Hasbro and retailers take notice of these things and say, "Hey these things are selling for 20 bucks online, we should be making more money." Not that I have the facts to back this statement up, but it's an educated guess. Good luck though.
