goin from a lot of strange seafood, to all kinds of games and birds.
I feel like one of my strangest, just cuz so rare, was Glass Eels. Such a simple preparations, and ended up jus being so damn yummy! Was crazy to have on the lin eat my job, in a lil dixie cup like cup, clear, measured out, cuz they were clear! cud really only see the eyes basically, really odd. but cool. Then, str8 out of the cup, into a little egg wash, all sqiggling n stuf still, haha, and then right into sum seasoned flour, and into saute pan of hot olive oil.. they fried up sooo nice, they jus kinda shrivled, and got smaller. they were great becuz they werent very greasy, didnt hold alot of the oil, they were very good. not a very strong flavor at all.. so if u do ever have the chance to try them, i def wud, they look alot dif, then they taste, assuming they dont taste very much, but are crazy lookin. |

Fish Stew in a thai restaurant, it had squid eyeballs in it, and coconut and curry.

I've eaten pig and cow hearts, also their feet, but the I'd say cow eyeballs.
not strange for me, but maybe you. Love tripe, squid and other seafood, we make menudo at least once a month, small game bird is awesome. |
