Troubled times for the Wii? - plugged in - Yahoo! Games
Does anyone own one of these? I tried bowling on my cousins'. It was enjoyable, but I scored much higher on the electronic toy than in a real alley.

The Wii has been a disappointment to me from day one. It had potential, then went nowhere. I'm sure it's a great system for kids, but I don't want to play 7/8 of the titles they release. Some games for it are truly fun, but they are few and far between.

I got the skate it game and GH but dont play often.
My wife on the other hand got the balance board and between that and tennis has seriously lost weight. I think since Christmas she has lost 10 #s and toned a lot of muscle. While she does that I search the web for gi joe stuff . |

House of the Dead: Overkill is pretty cool. A little excessive on the profanity (to the point where it's annoying), and it's a little choppy on the loading (at least in 2-player which is all I played) but definitly a fun rail shooter for the system.

all the games are boring minus a few, and they are all the same. They should just make a new system with no gimics and just let us game. It was a great idea, that just seems to be going no where.
And the graphis are terrible. Its like playing PS1 games 10 years later.

There's a piece of me that always wants to see Nintendo have a presence on the market ( I guess it's that Old School loyalty), but the Wii just isn't fun for me. And for all the potential the controls have, they really haven't been living up to it yet. It's a damned shame when the big N can't even set the market on fire with a MARIO game...

I love the Wii. Best game system on the market. Although sometimes it would be nice to just game instead of flailing around with the controllers.

As someone who has a PS3, 360 and a Wii, I have to say that it most definetly has its nitch. I play my PS3 mostly, then my Wii and barely touch my 360. I do enjoy the motion control on the wii.. I am currently playing Dead Rising ( which I find 10x more enjoyable on the Wii than my 360 version) and House of the Dead OK..
