They are laying in an unmarked grave right next to all three million unsold copies of ET for the Atari cartridge.

Really? I laughed when HD died because Sony spent all that money to put it's rival out of business even though neither format had a chance in Hell of replacing standard DVD. Agree or disagree but most of us are too cheap to spend $25 more for a movie just to have a slight improvement in picture quality. So Ha! Ha! to Sony for tossing all that money down the drain. I am sticking with DVD and am happy about it. P.S. I HATE SONY!

They are melting them down and creating the Cobra Island 7 packs, that's why its taking so damn long for the pre-orders to show up. Curse you Waterworld, SMELT ALREADY!

Actually, most got sent to wholesalers/closeout places. Kroger's got a bunch to sell at 4-6 bucks a pop, Amazon has a ton up for around $4 from a certain marketplace seller right now, and a few other sites got some. I love my 360 hd-dvd drive. Bought it after they announced its dead, and mailed the 5 free movie rebate in the week before it expired. Got player, 6 hd-dvds *came w/king kong* and a universal 360 remote for 50 bucks. Hell, been buying HD-DVDs for 4-7 bucks each, have a nice collection of high-def movies now. I buy blu-rays too though.
