Ok my wife process loans and she met a guy(a new customer) who is trying to sell his entire 25th/ME collection,(I have no idea how a convo about gi joe even started)she thought that I might be interested in buying it. She says the guy claims to have one of everything and is willing to let it go for $3000. I really have no interest in making such a purchase and was amazed about how much he wanted for it. I honestly dont think the guy would get that much selling each item individually on ebay. I wanted to know what some more knowledgable ebay buyers think, do you think he can get that much on ebay?

Depends on what he has and the conditions it's in.
But for "one of everything", then yeah, $3k easily.

If there is variants and exclusives he could get something close. If it was sold in a lot it may go for less. Figure Yellow Stalker is going for about $300 anymore so there is a nice boost right off the bat. Black Timber, $70 - $90. SDCC PDD Silver $65 - $75 and gold about $150 anymore. If there are no variants and no exclusives, maybe $1000 - $1500.

It's the "one of everything" that is the catch.
What exactly is "one of everything"? One of everything from years '82 to now? Does it include variants? Does it include any international figures? Does it include rarer figures? etc.. "one of everything" isn't descriptive.
