from 26 to 36 you and your body will make drastic changes. and you will prob wish you didnt have a tat on your cleavage.
i have some pretty large tattoos and they can all be hidden with a shirt. nothing on my arms or neck. having it been 16 years since i have had them, i could care less that i have tattoos. i was justa crazy kid marking my body with the things i liked, but now i am older. who cares? i would prob still get more , but i make sure they can be well hidden. |

I may be jumping the gun here, but I dont think shes asking if you think shed be hot with a tat....
...Do what makes you happy.thats it...People ask,"what are you going to think when your 60?" Well, I say," If Im SO different when Im that old, KILL ME; cause all that means is that Ive changed SO MUCH that I am a different person all together....Stay true to yourself, and dont worry what ANYONE says. The world needs "bartenders, tat artists mechanics etc" and by NO MEANS WHAT SO EVER does having tats limit you to these professions... I think alot of you guys would be VERY surprised to know just whats covered up under those long sleeve shirts.... remenber, shes not looking for us to tell her shes "hot" without tats...(some guys think tats ADD to attractiveness)...shes just asking if she should spend the money on Joes or Tats...thats it... However, I don't expect her to answer to my opinion simply because I said so. She should do what makes her happy.

Who's to say she won't change someday, and what's wrong with change anyhow?
You might love getting hammered and partying all night today. You might just want to stay home reading books to your kids someday. You might love UFC fighting and beer right today. You might prefer the history channel and a good Scotch tomorrow. You might be 40 and loving working a white-collar corporate job to provide for your family today. You might shave your head, get a harley, and tour the country, dive-bar by dive-bar tomorrow (when your kids are grown up and gone). Point is, we all go through things in life that make us re-evaluate who we are and change things about ourselves. That isn't being "untrue" to yourself, it's being as true to yourself as you can be. So don't do anything that you might regret later if your priorities change. You can be unique, different, flashy, and all the rest without permanently altering your skin. My two pennies.

I collect both tattoos and toys. I have around 13, most are large and in visible places( elbow to wrist and knee to ankle). I have a rather good career in marketing for a huge physical rehab company. I started with the whole meaningful tattoo thing but as I get older I just get what I enjoy and don't worry what people think.

I have a tattoo on either shoulder, one a stylized Lion's head and the other a cool yin-yang. I have a third on my ring finger of...a ring. I have had the shoulder one's for years and have never regretted either. The one on the finger was a stupid mistake done for the wrong reasons and it irritates me almost daily when some one asks 'is that a tattoo?' and I have to explain my stupidity.
Tattoo's are awesome as long as they are well thought out and not done just for the sake of having a tattoo. If it is something you really want, go for it! |
