for me i have been lucky that i could trade comic books for tattoos so i could use the money for joes.... but since i am super burned out on collecting joes least till they restart the classic figures after the movie stuff, and my artest has now gotten in to meth thanks to his white trash meth doing new woman i have to find a new person to do work now. but when he did do my stuff he did good work
the norte dame mascott i got back in 89 when i was a tradional (non racist) skinhead hence the mascot looking all Oi! Oi!
i was going to post my other arm but i lost the pics i had so i will have to retake them inc the ones on on my left side of my chest
i plan on getting a few more i plan on finishing up 2 half sleeves andsome stuff on my legs....right leg all gi joe and transformers themed and my left leg all star wars and star trek themed....
because of my job i have to uselly keep my tats covered other wise i would have had full sleeves by now :-)

from 26 to 36 you and your body will make drastic changes. and you will prob wish you didnt have a tat on your cleavage.
i have some pretty large tattoos and they can all be hidden with a shirt. nothing on my arms or neck.
having it been 16 years since i have had them, i could care less that i have tattoos.
i was justa crazy kid marking my body with the things i liked, but now i am older. who cares?
i would prob still get more , but i make sure they can be well hidden.

However, I don't expect her to answer to my opinion simply because I said so. She should do what makes her happy.

Who's to say she won't change someday, and what's wrong with change anyhow?
You might love getting hammered and partying all night today.
You might just want to stay home reading books to your kids someday.
You might love UFC fighting and beer right today.
You might prefer the history channel and a good Scotch tomorrow.
You might be 40 and loving working a white-collar corporate job to provide for your family today.
You might shave your head, get a harley, and tour the country, dive-bar by dive-bar tomorrow (when your kids are grown up and gone).
Point is, we all go through things in life that make us re-evaluate who we are and change things about ourselves. That isn't being "untrue" to yourself, it's being as true to yourself as you can be.
So don't do anything that you might regret later if your priorities change. You can be unique, different, flashy, and all the rest without permanently altering your skin.

I'd say get the tats. At least they're with you for life.
I'm a tat virgin. No ink on me what so ever. I've had (counts)...uh, 5 piercings at one time or another.
Anyways, get the tats then walk over and buy yourself a toy for being so brave and dealing with th epain!

all my tats have meaning,,,,,my left arm repasents my irish/scottish/welsh heritage....i grew up around old cars and hot rods and the 50's culture revival in the late 70s/80/s which explains the rod on m arm.....the pin up chick is a tribute to the retro pin up girls (3) that i have had relationships with and that one image symbolizes what were great times
...i would never get a womans name on me inked unless it was my mom or my children if i have any....never put a wife or partner on you cause if things go wrong then your stuck, i also grew up with the 2nd wave of punk rock as well as old horror movies and slasher gore films and the other tats i have reflect that part of my life that i was into at the time and also have great memories....and while i am not in to it as i was then i'm still hip to it now that my tats are revealent
tattoos are more accepted now then 10 or even 5 years ago.....and i like tattooos on a woman i find it erotic, and diffrent,,,,,BUT only if its classy.....and done well....i have seen some fine looking sexy as all get out ladies with tats that look like they were done in prison and it takes away from their looks,,,,and i have seen some plain jane homely looking woman with awsome looking tats,,,,,it all depends on how its done and what the subject matter is,,,,,
example in my own oppinion singer AMY WINEHOUSE is a butt ugly trailer trash looking drunkin hag with nasty looking tattoos,,,,she was prob drunk when she got her tats done cause alot of artists i know critique other peoples work and her art is the butt of jokes at several local shops...as what not to get

I collect both tattoos and toys. I have around 13, most are large and in visible places( elbow to wrist and knee to ankle). I have a rather good career in marketing for a huge physical rehab company. I started with the whole meaningful tattoo thing but as I get older I just get what I enjoy and don't worry what people think.

I have a tattoo on either shoulder, one a stylized Lion's head and the other a cool yin-yang. I have a third on my ring finger of...a ring. I have had the shoulder one's for years and have never regretted either. The one on the finger was a stupid mistake done for the wrong reasons and it irritates me almost daily when some one asks 'is that a tattoo?' and I have to explain my stupidity.
Tattoo's are awesome as long as they are well thought out and not done just for the sake of having a tattoo. If it is something you really want, go for it!
